Marvin - 18 month old un-named Chestnut Discorsi Gelding, currently on a spell until mid June then resuming with a view to racing as a 2 year old. From the Galileo sired Discorsi, this is his first yield of yearlings. Out of a Real Jester Mare. Could be racing by September or early October. 15 hands 2 inches and 500kgs currently, should grow to at least 16 hands. Looks a good type and should be an early runner. Very solid build and a great do'er. Eligible to enter Westspeed bonus scheme. A total of 10 shares each worth 5 percent are offered. POA, but very affordable.

Broodmare agistment, foaling down and weaning is all provided by our team at Bellebrook Performance Horses. With years of experience in all aspects of horses, we provide top quality of care to all types of equine athletes. Our facilities are of high quality and so you are ensured that your horse is as safe as can be. As this is not a large business, each horse will get the attention it needs and so the young horses will have a great start to life. We believe that being well handled, well mannered and confident around people is highly important to a horses start, after all no one wants a phone call saying their prize racehorse has gotten loose. Please read further for a list of services and prices. Broodmare agistment: This is in a shared paddock with automatic water trough, plenty of grass for grazing, space for exercise and shade. Mares will be fed twice daily. Dry mare: $ 20.00 per day. Wet mare: $25.00 per day. Foaling down: We are highly experienced in all aspects of breeding. Close to her due date, the mare will be closely monitored and separated. Test kits are used to provide a rough time for foaling, so she will be watched at this time. This is $360.00 and does not include veterinary expenses. Weaning and initial handling: When weaned, the foal will be halter broken and taught to tie up, pick its feet up, rugged and float trained. Doing this at a younger age increases their acceptance and also reduces the risk of injury to both themselves and the handlers. This is $30 per day and will take 8 weeks.

Hi I have just completed year 12 and I am about to commence my first year of an Animal science degree at Murdoch University with the hope of transferring to study Veterinary science at the end of my degree. I have been riding/owning horses since I was six and am experienced and confident in horse handling. I am really interested in a career in the horse industry and the breeding side of things so I am looking to do some volunteer work at a horse stud or vet clinic to gain experience and obeserve the breeding process.
