Time honoured race which looms as a disaster for Perth Racing with just four nominations, or so I am told. Smoko V Barakey V Celebrity Miss and something else.

Even that could change.

    2.50 for one 1.50 for the other for betting purposes. Impractical but as a one off spectacle would be interesting
    Not too many 2yr old races have turnover to cover stakes so not a lot different here really

    so damien was pretty close, as there is 6 of them and 3 or 4 of them would be ho hopers.

    if i had my time again, perth would be the last place i would look at, it's stuffed.
    and hasler rd stuffed it imo.

    So looking at the current field of 6, the trifecta could just about be the smallest for the year.

    Smoko to beat Celebrity Miss and Settle Strada to run third.

    Smoko could win by 4 or 5 lens

    Will this race create an event that will showcase WA Racing and make money from wagering?

    Great if you own 1 of the 6, but not a good look for our product

    Barakey 1st up at 1300m ?  mmmm reckon he is flat out running 1200m Smoko gets to the top its race over he was still a run under done last start Clint Price said

    barakey is finished , if the race was 1000m then he might hold on but 1300m is beyond him

    There's no way Smoko won't cross the 4 on his inside and surely Barakey 1st up over 1300m won't want a speed battle so I can't see any way Smoko won't get an easy time in front and cruise home. He was holding them last time on the line after having to work for the lead so $1.50 looks to be overs

    i cant get excited about any of them so give me a price on talent show to run a big race like last year. thinking i will have 30 wins 50 place to run a top 2.

    Are you going to bet on it? Are you going to create turnover to help pay for the race? No?

    So are you happy to race YOUR horses for ribbons so that we can have more if these charity ( everyone takes home prize money ) races with 6 horses and 3 with a hope of winning that you do want to watch? No?

    Just sell Ascot do we can have more.....
