Are you worthy of being named Analyst of the Year?

There is always discussion about which punter to follow and how profitable over the long term.

Rules

This challenge will run from 1 August 2016 to 31 July 2017
Only Members of the Punters Club are eligible.
Each member nominates One selection for Perth racing on Saturday at Ascot or Belmont race tracks.
Example - R6 - 9 Pikeless
This is to be posted on by midnight Perth time Friday night.
This is for Win Only selection.
The unit of $50 investment to determine the balance will be used.
If the horse scratched - the $50 returns to your balance.
Dividends will be based upon Starting Price fixed odds and tote odds – providing the difference over the year performance.

Analyst Bonus Prize - $50 - For any analyst that can have 10 consecutively winners (scratching not included), when achieved your streak begins again. Therefore a maximum of 5 bonus prizes can be achieved by any analyst.

Why would we be forced to submit our selection by midnight Friday when the first doesn't jump until nearly 12 hours later... A lot can change including scr etc in that time

As these are the rules that I set out and it allows members to know the selections first thing on Saturday morning.

If it is a scratching you don't lose anything as you get a Scratching and your balance is not affected. The statistics will show that you had a scratching.

I sent out the rules prior to and there was no complaints about the time. The option is there for you to join in and enjoy the competition or there is not need for you to submit a selection. I am not forcing you to do anything for this competition. It is there for you to join as being a member of the Punters club but you don't have to submit if you feel that the rules don't benefit how you analyse and invest.

The rules are there for a standard that works and all to see. There is no exceptions to the rules as over the course of the year everyone can read the rules and adhere to them.

There were members that submitted late and I am sure members appreciate their posting, though these will not go on the statistics for their year.

Enjoy the challenge for what it is. If anything you may even make a profit from the consideration of members selections. As time goes on you will learn various things about selections and options for investments.

Bias - be off the fence at least 2 as the rain fell during the day. On pace runners though small fields.

Over the last four races the outside runners were overpowering the inside runners.

So Rooboy puts in Miki Two Toes for Race 6 which won and paid $10.40 which I hope that some members collected on and appreciate that Rooboy posted and that would be a bonus for the members to enjoy.

The other late submitters Bean, Chelsea & OliversTwist all didnt win so nothing to be that upset about, though your stats will look better for not having a loss.

Yep you posted - Chocolate Holic.

I know that I have to go with the rules that I set up for the season and appreciate that you cop that on the chin (stats) for the season.

This makes that the standard is set for the year otherwise I will have to be consistent and allow for all late postings which would be harder.
