Race 1 and Later Alligator is $10 on Betfair in a weak maiden at Albany. Missed the kick when beaten 2.9L in a trial in 56.55 which was the fastest time of the day. Beat home Shmoov Mova. Sometimes this game really surprises you.

How could that ride go unpunished? Cousin Ivan, a stayer 1st up at 1100m was not asked for an effort at all between the 600 and the 400 when it was 2L behind the 2nd last horse. Then when there was clear opportunity to come to the outside, the jock went inside.
Whether intentional or incompetent, that ride deserved a lengthy spell on the sideline. Disgraceful.

Any questions asked of the ride there?

If not we may as well give up punting as it would have lost all integrity

No Questions asked in the stewards report, i cant remember when someone was asked about a ride here

Coming up for 5 years since it won a race, congratulations to connection's for your love of the animal, hope it breaks the drought sooner then later,Casey Hunter has never bee know for aggressive riding , horse may have appreciated it. But the vision shows questions run by trainer & jockey for the punters

You obviously missed the two successful meetings Mt Barker have just held, with the track good nick.

ARC been very poorly managed for the last four years. Totally incompetent Board, and as for the so-called manager Bayliss, he's a self confessed fraudster.

Looks to me they don't want racing down that way. they want racing in metro, pinj and bunbury. Centralise racing, centralise servicing, you centralise and save costs.

Probably go back & have a read around Vinnie on past history, the club has brought this problem on themselves from the previous Board & Administration, and things do not appear to have improved if RWWA were forced to make this decision

And RWWA turn a blind eye to Bayliss and his antics.

It's like another wonder of the world how he's allowed on a race track .

The funny thing is i don't mind him s a person.

Im well aware of what has happened. Just seems very convenient Rwwa throw their hands up and say “fu:k it, too hard, u guys sort it”
I suppose they have better things to do like organise their next racing junket

Halla bloody Luja, the whole corrupt Board stepped down at last night's emergency Committee meeting of the ARC (leaving the new President) to get on with the job of trying to get the Club back on its feet and hopefully chase some of the misappropriated funds. Good luck with that. Watch this space!

Bold words, calling all the new board corrupt, was not the new board there to fix the mess of the previous CEO & Board ?  The whole situation sounds dire & a mess. Sounds like you are very close to this drama

I was referring to the previous CEO, the Board that have just now resigned were 80% on the Board for several years, yes corrupt and complicit in the misdemeanours that have bought that Club to its knees!

It's been a long drawn out couple years.
I lost my membership for 2 years for trying to make the board and management accountable..
I have all faith that Alan Smith will get the club to where it needs to be.
