incase anyone wondering, grantham on Beau Rancher and B Kennedy in Dante Zonte in the sixth.
  • my banker will be in the last, female jock drawn 1 on a horse that will settle midfield and more than likely have a wall in front coming to the turn! will i ever learn   :(
plenty of pace from Ahoy calypso, FT, LP and The Developer will ensure the pace is on so considering a bit of luck will be storming home late........

NINE TENORS & TUDOR ROYAL look the best
  • Think Nine Tenors might be a good lay, generally if they break a minute for a trial they go well, but for me, its drawn wide and there is plenty of speed inside it, its going to go fwd so will do plenty of work, might just knock up, so if it's shiort enough

Velvet Assassin is my best of the day..... Nine Tenors would want to begin better than its trial to lead today.

Allup into Melody Lady, then the cue is in the rack for the rest of the day.

Did like Leonora's Pride late in the day, but a bit short for me.

Q for darrah, who was the last Kojonup Maiden winner to win in town? Or has there been one?

Big fella, there has been one I part owned him but there probably has been a few.

Our horse Belushi won his maiden at Koji in 1985 & the cup on the same day (he was nominated by mistake but we took it). He went on to win two Saturday class races in a row at Ascot, sprints at Bunbury, Pinjarra, Toodyay & a cup at Narrogin & a race at Northam.

I saw Leonora Pride win & he did it on the bit, they bet $7.
