Be at Belmont Park for UTC Final - Saturday 23rd July

| Tue 12 July, 2011

Perth Turf Talk and Perth Racing are excited to announce an on course function for the final of the Ultimate Tipping Championship on Saturday 23rd of July, Beaufine Stakes Day.

It will be one of the best winter racing days on the calendar with the Beaufine (1200m) and the Belmont Classic (2200m), both listed features.

Perth Racing have kindly set aside the Sports Bar, right next to the track and adjacent to the bookies ring, for our exclusive use. There will be finger food available and some other specials during the day.

Dependent on their availability, we hope to have the two finalists tipping live on course and for those who have been knocked out, we will run a unique tipping competition on the day for cash prizes.

Entry will be free and a complimentary racebook will be provided. We expect to do this via downloadable ticket that you can print off from your PC. The Sports Bar is the bar directly in front of Hollands Photographics on the ground floor. Stay tuned for more details.

Please express your interest in attending by emailing us at [email protected] and let us know how may guests you will be bringing for catering purposes. Everyone is welcome.

Isnt the point based NR system with its barrier draw conditions a handicapping system? I mean highest rated horses drawing worse off seems like a handicap
