Perth Turf Talk & Perth Racing are excited to announce the second Perth Racing Puntathon which will take place in the PR.com Lounge at Ascot on Saturday March 24.

Three teams will go head to head in the quest to be crowned the Perth Racing Ascot Puntathon champions.

TABozbet, perthturftalk.com.au and perthracing.com.au will provide three teams of fifty players each that will wager on all Perth Races from Ascot that day.

Each team member must place one $25 bet on a Perth race and also partake in a $250 local quadrella.

The team with the highest amount of money after the last race from Ascot will be deemed the winning team and carry off the special perpetual trophy plus bragging rights.

The cost is $60 to enter and each ticket has a $30 wagering component, 3 x beers or glasses of wine, finger food throughout the day, race course and lounge admission and race book.

Also, throughout the day there will be special bonus prize giveaways.

At days end, each team member will be paid a dividend from the accumulated balance of each team.

Some big racing is set to take place on March 24 with the running of the Listed Raconteur Stakes and the Listed York Stakes.

Rc8-OdinakaHeavy track suits - 6th run back from a spell same as last prep when he won at Belmont T/D on a heavy track and same barrier.I hope Shooter rides him the same way 4-5 deep and win.Fifth Essence/Monte Tremmezo in the 7th.

I've just heard that Kristy has got a flight home (Medivac) on Sunday. Her rehab will be long and agonising so as a passionate racing person myself I ask everyone to hope/pray for the best possible outcome for Kristy and the rest of her family
