Almost a faultless start for Carey in Starting 5
Long time forum members all know Carey and we've often wondered whether he had any bite to match his bark. But he dispelled any doubts on Saturday by choosing four winners from his starting five (Detection, Destroy, Elyssa Grace and Tricky Syd), the only loser was Cyber Crime, who failed by a short half head.
Carey racked up $120,000 in prizemoney and by far and away took the top honour in week one of our latest competition.
Starting 5 certainly created some interest with 200 punters registering in two weeks. Fifty of those failed to make the cut and next week we do it all over again with 150 of the top stables.

So even if your DIVA, MARTY or THE SWOOPER...who all got eliminated in the first round, you can still go in the next round? But i'd guess they cant win their way back in. They are out, but can still play. Is that correct?

There's a column "Alive" which says whether you're alive in the comp or not.We'll be down to 100 after this week.Then 80,60,40,20,10,5 -> Winner.

i think it just starts again from scratch this week but with only 150 instead of 200 players.so maybe there is no ladder as such?
