Barakey is back
Jim Taylor looks set to throw the acid on Barakey this campaign as he returns in the PR Festival Club Sprint on Saturday.
Not only has he booked Jason Brown in order to test Barakey with the 59kg, but he plans to head to some black type races in the coming months, something many punters have been waiting to see.
Barakey has been all the rage at his only eight starts with his longest starting price at $1.65, at his first ever start. He will again go round at the $1.20 mark on Saturday despite taking on a handy field of sprinters.
If he has returned anywhere near last campaign, he should win with ease and set the scene for a fruitful spring, culminating no doubt in black type success.

Loved the way he went about it was never going to lose from the corner onwards, a little scary at the start though for those who took the shorts after he slipped and had to be bustled a bit to lead. Anyway it was great to see him back, well done Jimmy and Jas...
