Even the magic of Adam Durrant has failed to get this critter across the line.

He sealed his fate today, sitting outside the leader, hitting the front and failing to hang on in the slovenly time of 59.20 for the 1000m.

Despite his inability to win, he has been a decent money spinner for connections, winning in excess of $117,000. Prizemoney however, doesn't help the punting purse!
