The Champion three and four-year-old of his generation in Singapore hasn’t raced since suffering a bleeding attack when finishing at the tail of the field back in May this year.
Under Bridgman's care the son of French Deputy has trialled twice most recently scoring impressively by four lengths at Te Rapa over 950m.
Having never missed the money fresh in six attempts, the six-year-old gelding is expected to create a big impression on debut when he attempts to upstage local hero and multiple Group 1 winner Mufhasa.
Better Than Ever in his time in Singapore, won 16 of his 26 starts and more than $2.5 million in prize money including his first 12 races straight before a top weight of 60kg, a wet track and the 2200m journey of the Longines Singapore Gold Cup of 2010 conspired against him.
