Black Caviar out of spring news

Black Caviar out of spring

Matt Rigby | Metropolitan Racing | Tue 31 July, 2012

Peter Moody has ruled Black Caviar out of this year's spring carnival saying she would either retire or not race again until 2013. This further adds to the theory that she was not quite right for her big assignment in England, a race she won with pure courage.

It looks as if the owners are buying some decision time before most likely sending her to stud next year.

A decision early September should still be in time for the HK Sprint in December and the last leg needed for the Global Sprint Challenge and the decent payday

She will probably pick up that soft G1 in Adelaide en route to breeding duties in the spring of 2013.
