Black Caviar to return to England

Perth Turf Talk | Australian Racing | Fri 29 March, 2013

Reports are emerging that Black Caviar will return to England this year to run in the King’s Stand Stakes.

The owners of Black Caviar have all but declared a second trip to Ascot is on the cards, pending the health of their super mare and mating date with English star Frankel .

Black Caviar won the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (1200m) at Ascot last year, despite carrying a raft of injuries which plagued her trip to England.

She has since won the Lightning Stakes (1000m) and the William Reid Stakes (1200m) in Melbourne this year.

Moody is plotting a run in the $1m TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) at Randwick next month as her Australian farewell.

Should she win the TJ Smith and go on to win again in England, Black Caviar will retire with a record of 26 wins from 26 starts.
