Boss booked for Travinator
Daniel Pearce has gone on the attack in what promises to be an intriguing match race between Travinator and Barakey in the $500,000 Winterbottom Stakes on November 24.
Pearce has booked Group 1 winning jockey Glenn Boss, fresh off the back Victoria's Spring Carnival, for WA's biggest sprint.
Nominations came out today for the Crown Perth Winterbottom and were lacking in big names from the east. Remaining on the list were Buffering, Pinwheel, Hallowell Bell and Bel Sprinter, but with the form shown by the unbeaten Barakey and the up and coming Travinator, many of those are unlikely to make the trip.
Boss is one of Australia's premier Group winning jockeys, fresh from his win on Ocean Park in the Cox Plate.
Boss will be up for grabs for other rides on Super Saturday, including the Railway Stakes and WA Guineas.

Interesting to see what happens in Victoria over the coming weeks/months. Hope they sweep the broom through and have a good clean out.

if the rumour is correct then they may need to look elsewhere for a rider for travinator. What is the rumour? Similar to Oliver?

you have it wrong pb(see i do read!), it should be PG1, not class 6, although there is not that much difference.

So you have to presume that Peter Knuckey has decided to remain with Power Princess ? Looks that way doesnt it she will be very hard to beat if the 2 hotpots go stupid up front she could sit just of them and go bang !!
