Harvey stood down
RWWA Stewards will inquire into a report received from the ChemCentre (Perth) in regard to the presence of a banned substance in the urine sample taken from Jockey Clint Harvey at the Lark Hill Barrier Trials on Monday, 5 November 2012.
The reserve portion of the urine sample taken from Mr Harvey has been referred to another Official Racing Laboratory for confirmatory analysis and following receipt of the results an Inquiry will be held at a time and date to be fixed.
Acting under the provisions of ARR.81A(3) Jockey Harvey has been stood down effective immediately from riding trackwork, trials and races until the conclusion of the Stewards’ Inquiry.

I think Harvey is desputing that the sample he gave was not his!!!!! Thats his right i suppose he is entitled to but his record suggests the sample will be his !!!

So someone had taken the Pi55. The only way it wouldn't have been his is if it had shown the source of the urine to be pregnant.

We will see this plays out. Hope he isn't targetted by some people in the old switch-a-roo. If it was switched I can see a huge compensation payout for him due to loss income.

I'd suggest just making sure it was his sample that was tested..it probably should have been confirmed with the testing regime initially..if not then definitely on the second confirmation test, which is what the second test is for..to confirm all results and c...
