It's day of the Champ
What a huge day for the three codes with the Champion of each all running today, Saturday 16th of February.
Black Caviar steps out at Flemington in the Lightning Stakes at 1.30pm, a race that has recently been named after her. Peter Moody is bullish about her condition, saying she's in the best shape of her career. Win, lose or draw, it will be a momentus day nonetheless.
Meanwhile, I'mthemightyquinn, WA's superstar pacer, steps out in heat 5 of the interdominion tonight at Gloucester Park at 6.35pm and finally Miata, who has taken all before her and helped the resurgence of Greyhound racing interest in WA, goes around in the Zoom Top at The Meadows tonight at 5.43pm.
All will start long odds on and rightly so.

Bold Trease?? Won the same race (Sandown Cup) 4 years in a row. For a greyhound that's unheard of.

Sandis me mum was pretty good and she was in my lifetime. That makes Miata a twice in a lifetime animal.
