Jones questioned over race-fix
Peter Jones, director of TSA Telco Group, was in Melbourne last week to answer questions about his winning bets on the controversial Smoking Aces race at Cranbourne.
Jones denied any wrongdoing when he collected part of winnings totalling up to $200,000 that was won by Nikolic's friends and associates on the race. Mr Jones denied knowing Nikolic outside of racing and having ridden his horses.
Jones is also a part owner of Bolton, which won the $100,000 Victoria Cup, a race also under investigation by Stewards.
He also races 2011 Summer Scorcher winner, Canali and Stalingrad, who was sensationally backed at 100/1 when winning at Ascot last December.
