Knuckey on the mend
Peter Knuckey is aiming to resume riding trackwork in January after his recovery from back injuries suffered in a trackwork fall at Ascot in early November.
Knuckey fractured his T7 vertebra in the fall, a big setback after a great start to the season as he was second in the Perth riding premiership at the time.
Knuckey has started swimming and is hoping to resume riding trackwork midway through next month.
"I hope to ride in two sets of trials and then return to race riding by February 1," Knuckey said.
