Perth Turf Talk | Australian Racing | Mon 27 August, 2012

Miata has done it again, speeding to a record in the National Distance Championship (709m) in Hobart on Saturday.

The crowd at Belmont Park stopped in their tracks on Saturday afternoon as the race was shown live on course.

While she only won narrowly and held of the Sandown Cup winner, Irma Bale, the time was the fastest ever recorded on the track at 41.24 seconds.

Miata continues to fly the flag for Greyhound racing Australia wide.
