Miller and Kennedy given all clear
Stewards believe there was nothing untoward about jockeys Duncan Miller and Alan Kennedy failing to take their rides at Belmont Park today.
Miller and Kennedy, who have fallen foul of stewards on many occasions, stood themselves down just hours before the meeting started.
Miller told Racing and Wagering WA's racing department he had suffered a collarbone injury and Kennedy said he had a migraine.
Stewards were unable to contact the duo.
"There is no reason to believe there was anything untoward about them not riding," deputy chief steward David Hensler said.
"Both will require medical clearances before they can ride again.
"We don't know the extent of Miller's injury."
