Moody protecting the record of Black Caviar

Peter Moody has admitted that he and connections are mindful of protecting Black Caviar's unbeaten record when she returns to racing early in 2013.

She currently stands at 22 starts for 22 wins and the plan is to cover Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in her last ever campaign.

Moody also conceded that Black Caviar was probably past her best and could have bowed out after her win in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.
