Nikolic in strife again
Nikolic will seek a Supreme Court injunction to allow him to return to the saddle tomorrow after he was stood down indefinitely for allegedly making threatening remarks about the family of Chief Steward Terry Bailey at Seymour yesterday.
Nikolic denies his comments were threatening and jockeys decided to ride the remainder of the meeting, rather than strike in support of Nikolic.
It certainly sounds like the relationship between Bailey and Nikolic has reached the point of no return. Both alledge comments and conduct that are completely denied by the other.
Nikolic has been under seige lately with questions being asked of his participation in two races, the latest of which he rode Royal Mail into third in the Victoria Cup (2000m) at Caulfield.

Or the steward needs to take off his little pink dress and HTFU, Sometimes yes...but not this time..lets not forget that Nikolic is being investigated for his involvement in a murder case....not the time to play the tough guy, no matter who you are.
