Not A Single Drop carries the form lines

Perth Turf Talk | Metropolitan Racing | Tue 28 August, 2012

Michael Lane's Not a Single Drop steps up to 1400m on Wednesday in the fourth race to be run at 2.40pm.

In his second only start on August 15, he dropped right out behind Grand Crusade and Magnifisio, both of whom raced on the pace and spaced the rest of the field. Not A Single Drop ran on stoutly to finish third.

Grand Crusade has since come out in Saturday company, racing wide and battling away to beat half the field home.

Prior to that, Not A Single Drop accounted for Petrenui in his trial, a horse that subsequently careered away to a 4 1/2 length victory at his first up assignment last week.

Daniel Staeck will retain the ride and will be looking to gather some momentum after resuming from an injury enforced break back in July. He has ridden three winners since returning.
