Oliver's fate decided Tuesday

Damien Oliver will learn his fate tomorrow when he fronts the stewards over betting offences.

The stewards are also expected to explain why Oliver was allowed to ride during the Spring Carnival where he rode three Group 1 winners.

Oliver can expect a disqualification of at least a year if recent precendent cases are followed.

Theoretically.....if there are up to 10 jocks that could be implicated....perhaps they set a precedent with Ollie at 8 months knowing that if 10 others go, there are going to be some serious shortages of jocks in the coming months? Just a thought... tha...

i do not know or have even met oliver, but fcs leave the guy alone. the majority of jocks bet...george moore was a beauty. i would suggest oliver got dobbed in, hence it all came out...albeit over 2 years since the offence. its done and dusted, he'll keep h...

Most punters would kill for Ollie's self control, never has a bet, boom drops 10 large on one, wins, then puts cue back in the rack. Modern day marvel. Well put mate

hinch can't even spell 'reed' the right way. although i admit to writing a filthy email to reed just last week, calling him a ***kwit along with some other choice terms. have a reply too that i have not yet bothered to read.
