Playing God to hit and run on The Emirates

Perth Turf Talk | Metropolitan Racing | Wed 26 September, 2012

Playing God is back in work for Neville Parnham who plans a hit and run attack on The Emirates Stakes (1600m) on the last day of Flemington's Spring Carnival.

A two time winner of our Kingston Town Classic (1800m), he is yet to crack a Group 1 in Melbourne. His best results were placings behind December Draw (Turnbull Stakes) and Black Caviar (CF Orr Stakes) and earlier in his career behind Shocking (Australia Cup) and Shamrocker (Austraian Guineas).

While one of our WA's best sprinter / milers, he has yet to win at further than 1800m and has shown on past trips he may be just short of Group 1 company in Victoria.

Parnham plans to start first up in WA before heading to Melbourne, a trip he is well accustomed to having been three times with Playing God.

Can't decide on Grand Nirvana or Playing God, he should carry the 62kg's fine ?, surely his class will see him prevail.
