Settle Strada for the paddock
David Harrison declared that he was concerned Settle Strada might have trained off prior to his impressive free striding win at Belomont on the weekend. Settle Strada was once again heavily backed from $2.60 in early markets, to start a warm $2.20 favourite on race day. He was always going to get the front, but he demolished his rivals in a run away win by 2 1/4 lengths. Harrison will aim at the Chaff City Classic next campaign over 1300m.
