Spring carnival curse
The 2012 Spring carnival curse has already claimed the chances of a host of quality gallopers leaving question marks over who the stars of Melbourne's features will be.
With Black Caviar, Atlantic Jewel, Lucas Cranach, Whobegotyou & Matawanui all ruled out in recent weeks, the doors are well and truly open for star mares More Joyous, Mosheen & Samaready.
Southern Speed returned with an average performance in the Group 3 Spring Stakes in Adelaide, whilst Rekindled Interest, Heart of Dreams, Luckygray and Golden Slipper winner Pierro look the best of the male contenders at this stage.
Blue blood All Too Hard also returns this weekend in the San Domenico at Rosehill.

Hay list just had an op and went very well. Dont think you'll be seeing him this spring though. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/superracing/hay-lists-mighty-career-has-sting-in-the-tail/story-fn67siys-1226411669486

No disrespect intended, but i'm not sure how Luckgray can be considered in the same ilk as the others mentioned. After all, He's Remarkable wouldn't be worthy of mention would he.....
