Travinator set to sizzle in Summer
Travinator has had a tie back throat operation and is recovering well. He will resume training on 1st September and will be aimed at the Crawford Stakes and the Summer Scorcher at the end of the carnival.
The Mosayter gelding has won 7 of his 10 starts and his perfect record over the short trip will be felt on return.
Fellow stable star, Keeper Quiet, has also had fetlock surgery for a bone chip. She's back in work and progressing well to a trial at Larkhill on the 15th of July.
The Pearce camp looks set to be amongst the 2yo competition when Testamezzo & Hard To Express return for the Spring. Newton Prince almost made an impression when third last Wednesday at Belmont after travelling wide the trip. He'll be aimed at similar company over 1600m on Wednesday.
"We are really looking forward to the next six months. We have some nice yearlings come through too with Snitzel/Olivia De Belle doing everything right and a Discorsi/Candid Smile colt not far away.", said trainer Daniel Pearce.
