WAROA Awards Night a success
The WAROA Awards Night was once again a great success, held at the Grand Balroom at the Hyatt on Saturday night.
Luckygray took all the honours, winning the 4yo and upwards category and the Horse of the Year.
It was no surprise the Luke's Luck won the two year old award after winning the state's two biggest juvenile events, the Karrakatta Plate and the Sires Produce.
Three year old of the year went to Rohan after his dominant wins in the JC Roberts, the WATC Derby and the Belmont Guineas.
In other awards, Adam Durrant took out leading trainer, William Pike leading jockey and Ryan Hill the leading apprentice.

No need to pay overs this year in Australia for anything with the exception of Fastnet Rock. Both of my clients that are Breeders in significant numbers, own Stallions that they inted to support in big numbers. Those sort of events have more appeal to Breeders...

pretty good, although i wasnt taking much notice. There were no screaming bargains from what I recall. I think Scandal Keeper went for more than the service price.....but its booked out so I guess that makes sense.
