Young Lionel would again start favourite in this race. Money had come in for Express Service, but punters were wary after recent scratching. In recent runs Young Lionel had let punters down, but with Pike on board it would salute to give favourite punters a nice start to the day.
The small field all got away well but it was Express Service and Go Jorj who got away the best. At the 1200m mark, they had worked away from the field with Young Lionel sitting just behind them. At the 900m mark the field had got a little closer, but the front two were still comfortable. As they turned heading towards the 500m mark, Go Jorj kicked away and kicked from Express Service. Young Lionel dug deep late and managed to just beat a tiring Go Jorj, whose strides shortened right up late in the race, after running extremely hard early.
Results
1. 6 YOUNG LIONEL $2.60/$1.80
2. 4 GO JORJ $3.20
3. 3 EXPRESS SERVICE

Race 2 was a race for the two year old fillies. Some great horses in this race including Camporella, Busimiss, O’Hara De Belle, Vampi Lass and Princess Hallowell. All these horses as well as Foxalicious were all under the $10 mark going into this race, meaning the winner would pay some nice odds.
Busmiss, Princess Hallowell and Camporella all got out of the barriers with great speed. At the 700m mark, Princess Hallowell had finally managed to cross the field after doing a huge amount of work early. She led from Camporella who had settled on its outside and Busmiss who had a lovely position on the fence. As they cornered Foxalicious came up to cover Busimiss on the rails for fourth position. With 300m to go, Camporella seemed to find another gear and looked extremely focused and confident as it joined Princess Hallowell and then went past her to win nicely from a fast finishing Vampli Lass.
Results
1. 1 CAMPORELLA $4.20/$1.80
2. 5 VAMPI LASS $2.10
3.3 BUSIMISS $1.60
Horse to follow:
Camporella – This horse should already be in your black book from previous races. However, if not, she showed again her worth as she cruised past the leader and then held on to win at nice odds for such a good horse.
Black Queen – This horse is already in our black book and will stay there after racing home late to finish fourth and again produce an eye catching race.

Race 3 was the listed staked for 2 year old colts and geldings. The punters wanted one horse and once horse only and that was Petrol Power who had won 2 from 3 races and would start at $1.60 on track.
They all jumped away nicely from the barriers, but the race lacked pace early. With this Brown decided to take Petrol Power to the front and cross the field with ease. Mythical Trust had got away well as had Danny Rip and Trichologist who worked hard early to go around a few horses and get to the outside of Petrol Power as they turned. As they entered the straight petrol Power led and Danny Rup gave chase, but it was Terror Force who finished off extremely well and managed to jump in front of both horses just before the post.
Results
1. 6 TERROR FORCE $10.10/$2.50
2. 1 PETROL POWER $1.04
3. 2 DANNY RIP $1.90
Horse to follow:
Terror Force – This horse didn’t get away the best and was at the back end of the field on the rails in the early stages. As it went around the turn it managed to get off the rail and give itself some room. Noske then had to pull it around Danny Rip so it had some open space and it responded extremely well to finish off strongly. I’m not confident that this is a horse we must jump on next start, but this win cannot be ignored with the horses it has beaten. Keep in the black book and let’s see where this horse takes us.

A few of these horses came from a similar form lines. Last start Jim ‘n’ Jim was too strong for a flat Operational who was hot favourite going into the race. This week Jim ‘n’ Jim would go in as favourite, but many punters believed that Operational could put its last start behind it and jump back into the winners circle.
Again this race had a lack of pace early. Emaho and Indamani jumped well, but the jockeys of Finding Water and Operational weren’t happy with the pace so they decided to move up and take the lead. Jim ‘n’ Jim went back to last and was happy to sit and wait for the right time to pounce as it did last start. The race was run with no real moves through it as Finding Water led for most of the run while Operational sat on the outside and was in a nice position on the pace. At the 800m mark Finding Water had settled and was getting a bit of a breather when Parnham decided it was time to put Operational to work. Operational raced to the lead at the 600m mark and pulled away from the field. Jim ‘n’ Jim lost its position and dropped back to last around the bend but was ridden aggressively to try and get back into the race as they entered the straight. As they past the 150m mark, Emaho had gone past Operational and Reale Fury had also worked up to be with the leaders, but it was Jim ‘n’ Jim who again showed its class to finish off strongly and lengthen out nicely to win from a wide position on the track.
Results
1. 2 JIM ‘n’ JIM $2.20/$1.60
2. 6 EMAHO $3.90
3. 4 REALE FURY
Horse to follow:
Jim ‘n’ Jim – After its last run we marked this horse as one to follow and it didn’t let us down with a win in this race. Like last start it didn’t have a great run and could have easily dropped out of the race when it lost its position on the turn. It showed its fighting spirit again and was too strong for this field.

The tote was extremely close coming into the first leg of the quaddie in the W.A.T.C Stakes. Rouge Dior, Cavallo Pazzo, Modello, Bombora and Beach Express were all under the $10 mark, meaning there was nice odds for all horses.
Beach Express got away to a great start and was able to cross the field and lead from Modello and Cavallo Pazzo. As they went around the bend Beach Express had settled into a lovely stride and was starting to stretch the field out. With 300m to go Beach Express had cleared out and slipped away from the field easily to kick away for a big win from a strong finishing Mscar and Sir Hallowell.
Results
1. 2 BEACH EXPRESS $6.10/$2.80
2. 4 MSCAR $5.90
3. 9 SIR HALLOWELL $4.10
Horse to follow:
Beach Express – This horse just continues to find a way to win. Durrant is on fire and we can no longer leave this horse out of our black book. It has shown fighting spirit in previous races and in this race it showed speed out of the barrier and great control around the bend to kick away from the field.
Ascot R6. Natasha Stakes

As we had seen for many of the races today, the punters were undecided on a few horses. Seven horses in this race would start under the $10 odds, which gave plenty of value for the second leg of the quaddie.
Futurism and Angel Rose got away nicely in the early stages of this race. They were joined early but Fancy Feet, Keg Mouse and The Danehill Rose who was over racing. With 1300m to go, Angel Rose had taken the lead from Fancy Feet, Futurism and Fleeting Image. At the 850m mark the field had come together, Angel Rose still led but Fancy Feet and Fleeting Image had both worked up nicely. However, it was Kim China and Moreish who had both started to move up around the field from the tail end of the field. As they entered the straight Angel Rose had kicked away but it was the small horse Moreish who was able to continue to run on from the back end of the field to finish off too strong again.
Results
1. 1 MOREISH $8.00/$2.80
2. 10 ANGEL ROSE $4.90
3. 7 FANCY FEET $19.30
Horses to follow:
Moreish – We black booked this horse after its last start and it repeated its last result to come from last again to finish off strongly and win. At great odds I hope our followers of this horse enjoyed the win and filled the pockets. We will definitely be staying on this horse after this run.

Coming into this race it seemed to be a race between two in Rebelson and Sireeze. Western Blaze and Trading Day had received some late support but Rebelson would start the hot favourite after its last start win.
The 15 horses all jumped well in this big field. Zedspiel got away nicely and led early from Saturday Skies, Gold Broker and Steel Spur. Zedspiel managed to dictate the pace for a lot of the race, but around the bend Saturday Skies decided to go for home and managed to pull away from the field. Rebelson and Trading Day tried to close on Saturday Skies late, but they had left it too late as Saturday Skies was able to steal the victory.
Results
1. 2 SATURDAY SKIES $27.90/$5.60
2. 1 REBELSON $1.30
3. 6 TRADING DAY $2.90
Horses to follow:
Rebelson and Trading Day were both in our black book before this race and although they didn’t run the best races we’ve seen from them, we will definitely stay with them as they showed their strong finishing ability again to get home for second and third position. Saturday Skies was extremely impressive, but I want to see another race before we put it into our book.

Mia China Doll was the huge favourite coming into the last race here at Ascot. It had all the support and for good reason after two wins in its last two starts.
Mia China Doll and Pure Adrenalin jumped away well in the early stages of this 1200m race. Full Clip and Catlantic settled just behind the leaders, but it was Pure Adrenalin that was able to race away from the field around the bend. Mia China Doll fought back and was able to catch Pure Adrenalin at the start of the straight, but Catlantic also made a move to join the leaders. Catlantic was able to finish off the strongest as Mia China Doll couldn’t run on in the final stages.
Results
1. 6 CATLANTIC $19.50/$3.10
2. 9 MIA CHINA DOLL $1.30
3. 11 THE BLUES $5.40
