I don't know if it's just me but the add that you hear on the radio advertising certain WA stallions sounds absolutely terrible. The voice that changes tone and drops back like a echo is terrible. Have a good listen' annoying '.
Radio advertising is very cheap and the production only matches it. But if the message is getting through then the advertiser should be happy with the result. I think in the years ahead, internet & social media advertising will destroy most of the forms of marketing for the racing industry of the last ten years or more.
I will be doing my best to make sure that happens as well with a higher quality and higher production value product in the first part of next year. But all of it costs a lot of money, and there is not a lot to throw around these days by the majority of Stallion Owners.
I agree but most people go to the web for there information and a link to a video would be worth a million words. I agree that radio adds are a great advertising tool but a introduction to the stallion in one good radio voice would be a lot better than a second echo.
2nd echo? Some of DMac's ads have that many extra filters and reverb going on, it gets hard to hear the original script.
I always turn down the volume when those ads come on, they aren't very good. And I have no probs with DMac's voice, it's just the oveeruse of filters and effects (every time), that destroy the message.
