A few lay down games this week ,looking fwd to the Pies v Blues clash as well as Brizzy v Crows reckon Brizzy can bounce back at home and the 2.25 s/out is a handy price ,WC are favs over the Hawks so $2 s/out the Hawks will do me i still reckon the WC look a tad frail on paper without Kerry ,Nic Nat,and Wellingham if Buddy gets on top of Brown they could be in trouble as they have no 2nd option to go to him wont be much in it thats for sure ,Tiges should beat STK,Freo should put Doggies in the bin and the rest pick themself

Tiges are never a "should", and I wouldn't be putting the house on the Doggies ending up in the bin

I saw an ad last night on Channel 7 about the Eagles v Hawthorn game, labelled as "the most anticipated game of the season"

What a load of shit :-&

    Tigers will beat the 'aints.
    Pies will beat the filth.
I reckon Brisbane can roll the cows and Dogs will snuff the dockers.

Weakest AFL effort by the Demons in history
    It's a wonder Mailman hasn't complain (ha ha )

More painful was watching their supporters after the game - a few launched into them heavily!

GWS went well for three quarters - Gold Coast went well for three quarters.

Port Adelaide 2nd top of the ladder - well f*#k me!

Dockers have a rough few weeks coming up - Eagles have an easier few weeks.

Think Round 3 will start to shape up the season for a few teams.

Dockers next 4 weeks will win 3 the Hawks game down in Tassie is the worry ,Bombers at home is a win ,Tiges at home is a win ,GWS is a win

After watching the Doggies twice now, they arent that bad. They are starting to amass some weapons. Its all about getting things other clubs dont have - their clearance work through Minson/Libba is elite.. Roughead looks a potential elite defender, Dahlhaus is terrific.

Shame they have no key fwd, senior players who play for emselves a lot (Gia main one, Murphy and Higgins not as bad - Aker was spot on I reckon) and the caravan park version of Zac Clarke (Cordy).

The should be making a play for a lightning rod fwd, doesnt necessarily have to be an absolute gun. They'll beat a few teams this year.

Dungy so u have Tiges beating Doggies 50+, Freo won by 28, yet u say that Freo v Tiges is a win for Freo?

Doggies have surprised me. Wont make the 8 but wont finish bottom 4 either, where i thought they would.
Bombers only played Melb but looked good against Crows in rd 1. Friday nite should be a real test for both teams.
Cats & Bombers have impressed me the most so far. Pies still have several good players to come back in too. Those 3 plus Freo would be my early top 4 picks.

Feeling more confident about Hawthorn as the game approaches hawks weakness at the moment is their outside runners but dont think eagles have the players to exploit it at the moment good game.

Was that 50 seriously because the water boy bounced the ball ?
  • octaviusoctavius    2,290 posts
Yep, was listening to it in the car when it happened, funny stuff...
  • TiversTivers    7,720 posts
Funniest thing is - it bounced straight up in to the Perth player's hands anyway.....................

You cant have it both ways, if we can't catch them in the game we can't catch them in that instance...

    Not with this team!

Players are 100% responsible for their on field actions.

Think Melbourne will receive their 3rd smashing in as many weeks this weekend!

Some good games this weekend though
    Dockers/Essendon
    Geelong/Carlton
    Hawks/Collingwood

Personal medications of a Afl coach should not
    Be made public !
Media has a lot to answer for ?
Can see this in the courts in the future ?

Agree on all points Brady but its about perception mate and if its true then how would the Mums and Dads of this world sending there young blokes at the age of 17/18 to play at Essendon feel ??? If the coach wacks it up then who else down there as well ??
