What if your favourite?

Comedy wise, hard to go past The Waterboy.

    Kid Galahad :))

Seriously, a good old boxing movie is The Harder They Fall with Humphrey Bogart. Also has The Livermore Larruper Max Baer and Jersey Joe Walcott in it.

    Bull Durham

Your shower shoes have fungus on them. You'll never make it to the bigs with fungus on your shower shoes. Think classy, you'll be classy. Win 20 in the show, you can let the fungus grow back and the press'll think you're colorful. Until you win 20 in the show, however, it only means you are a slob.

Good one Rider ...Wacky Races :))Penelope Pitstop, Peter Perfect..The Slag Brothers in their Boulder Mobile etc, Classic cartoon.

On the movie front it's not the best but I didn't mind Let it Ride.. watched it after reading about it on here.. had never heard of it previously.

For the soccer fans Fever Pitch even though it is about an Arsenal fan and has the love factor for the girls.

    Sport (gambling) & Salvation Army Musical..Guys & Dolls  :D

Part sport The Sting was a great movie.

Yes The Sting what a great film. Dick Dastardly and Muttley in Wacky Races were beauties. The first Bad News Bears with Walter Matthau and Tatum O'Neal was a funny sports movie too.

Its a doco but Muhammad Ali Rumbling in the Jungle. Horse movies are hard to recreate but Seabiscuit  and Phar Lap both tried hard. Always a bit of poetic license.

The best racing movie is MURPHY'S STROKE.

Everyone on here should watch it if they havent already. True story, stars Pirece Brosnan.

Pierce Brosnan. Thanks for the warning.

I will watch it on your recommendation Linc as I note it is about the Gay Future fraud in the UK. A substituted horse well before the Fine Cotton story.

I see there is a reboot of The Gambler starring Mark Wahlberg to be released next year. I loved the original starring James Caan, and while no fan of Marky Mark(for those who didn't grow up in the 90s, yes it is the same guy) this actually looks half decent.
