    Speaking of getting it wrong; me taking $3.10 on the Sharks.

    Good performance North. Where does this leave Freo? They were pretty well handled by Sydney last week but get by through Sydney's poor finishing

    shinboner spirit - does that not mean to grind out a tough close win and throw it all on the line when it counts.... something north are terrible at (close tight finishes)
    not beating an under manned side like the swans with the best full fwd in the comp missing from the team..

    Make all the excuses you like for Sydney. We travelled away and we won a big game when it counted with an average list of players.

    will you be lining up for tickets on Tuesday morning along with half of Perth to see north make their way to the GF?
    difficult to predict the winner but I reckon it will be a high scoring shootout.. i'm looking forward to paying $180 a ticket (and that's using a membership!)

    I don't think so mate, I'm not that privileged!
    Not so much me playing them down but most reckon Goldie is the only decent player on our list.
    I'd say we've got 4 top notch players, the rest are battlers.
    We've over achieved to make a prelim, but I'd prefer that any day to underachieving with a good list

    waite, Higgins, Goldstein, dal santo, petrie, swallow, Hansen, firrito, Harvey & Thomas.... 10 quality players right there that can match it with any opposition any day of the week.

    the constant talking down the chances of your team makes me think your the one who doesn't watch too much footy

    Im not to worried about next weekend Dung... we've done more than I expected we would this year. I dont think there's a team in the league that could come to Subi and beat the eagles, barring them having a shocker.

    4 top notch players, the rest are battlers. I guess that can only mean Brad Scott is an outstanding coach to have got them this far. You'd be pretty happy Diva that they offered him a 2 year extension before yesterdays game then. :D

    imo they are players that have an impact, mightn't be up to the quality of Goldstein but definitely are part of the reason north are going so well this season

    The Shuey injury is a worry long term but the game against North won't even be a contest.

    There's a reason why they finished where they finished and it's called being a pretty average team, seriously if the Eagles blow an opportunity like this to walk into a GF they should shoot themselves.

    North have had the best run of all time, Richmond confirmed sadly yet again that whenever the word finals is mentioned they go to water and then they encountered Sydney who have played in stops and starts all year when healthy let alone when decimated by injuries.

    Not to mention Sydney being severely disadvantaged by having to play a "home" final at ANZ rather than the SCG,

    Hopefully that's the last time we''ll have to put up with Fitzpatricks corrupt deal to play games there. What an an absolute joke.

    The funny part is that they're expecting you to take 11 bucks North for the flag, it's probably only about a million unders.

    Just got home from the mighty Falcons win and then I read this crap! AC, why are you so disrespectful to the Roos when all they can beat is who's on the park! No this and no that, big friggen deal! Yep they might be just that average side as you crap on about, but, I don't think the Eagles have beaten us this year! =)) =))

    *-:) The GF is the Hawks to lose.
    If either Freo, WC or North and the Hawks play at their very best unfortunately I think the Hawks will knock all of them off.
    Can only hope they are "off" a bit and we get the chance to have bragging rights here for a year because I have no doubt we will smash the wankles (or get over North) in the big one.

    You can only play as well as your opposition let you and Adelaides pressure on the weekend was non existent it was not befitting of a final. whilst I feel hawthorn are going to be hard to beat I don't subscribe to them being unbeatable in fact I think they are very vulnerable down back particularly lake who has been eating a few too many pies and has lost his mobility along with frawley. The eagles with their ruck dominance are one team who can expose this vulnerability as it really hinders there midfield who obviously along with there forwards are sublime.

    you get an easy draw by finishing 2nd and having two home finals... you dont finish second if you havent performed throughout the year.
