they missed the point when they started the campaign "bet with the tab because they fund the industry".

punters don't give a shite about doing the noble thing.

punters care about getting on, getting good odds and getting decent incentives and offers. 

Tabtouch has gotten that over time, but they were years late in just getting on with it instead of trying to appeal to our principles.

Same race multi with the top 3 in the market top all run in the top 4 in race 1 at Sale today and TABtouch are offering slightly better odds than Sportsbet

Far from it especially when it comes to the punt but I had to check it out for myself and share.. funnily enough I tested it out on a different race and Sportsbet had better odds on the other one so there seems neither is better than the other

With the responsibility taken away from whoever buys the WATAB of funding the Industry, does funding become a political whim that inevitably will lead to racing for ribbons and corporate bookmakers forever changing the landscape of the entire process of womb to tomb in breeding, racing and post race life of a horse ?

This was the one aspect of Racing in Ireland that struck me the first time I went to The Curragh and Coolmore. They have plenty of people coming in paying training fees and breeding horses with vibrant sales rings, but they run for nothing in real terms. the racecourse itself had to be rescued a few years ago by several multi's who were major breeders and owners.

I think that is what will happen here.

They will just raise the point of consumption tax, prize money will be fine just the punters who will get shafted.

I dont know about others - last hour or so today ( Friday ) received an email from TT - put a deposit into today and you will get a free bet up to $75 - they have had this offer before -  so to me it is a no brainer to make the deposit - obviously TT working on the premise that your free bet will lose and you will lose your new deposit betting - fair enough 

Now free bets are nice - however in typical  TT fashion they dont tell you the full story ( its only an extra  $25 - but there is a principle ) 

So when they said you will get a free bet up to $75 - i obviously deposited $75 - and in my account - it came up free cash/bet $50 - now that is classic iconic Tab Touch 

I would have deposited $200 or $300 - if that meant i got the full $75 free bet - but they didnt tell you that - i just thought they would match $ for $ what you deposited

Not all bad though their deposit bonus fellas...the bonus 75 it is cash at full value I.e when you have 20 on a $5 pop from that bonus and it wins you get the whole 100 back.
Sportsbet, Ladbrokes Bet365 etc the other bonus bet gimmick offerers disregard the stake so you only get 80 back...

Ladbrokes occasionally have a sucker CASH back offer but Sportsbet never do..its always bonus $$ only.

I got a $20 bonus bet offer from TT via sms. Had next to nothing in my account so was able to use the bonus bet.

Didn’t have to deposit anything to get the $20 bonus bet. So thumbs up to TT on this one.

If my $20 bet on a $6.00 pop gets up then I get paid out $120.

Not less the $20 stake like other bookies. Sure there is a catch but…..:-?

This is a point I try and get across doesn't get enough credit.no one else does cash back that I know of(other than Ladbrokes try a sucker punch on a Donkey race somewhere once in a while).

The fact they don't have bonus functionality in their software like the others is a good thing!

Notbetr have now gone back to just races 1 to 5 i think.. maybe already on the back foot?

Yes the only thing that kept me alive, still missed on two but Buster Bash meant broke evens for the day.Thought the crowd would have been bigger and was great to see Lucky Grey(now white)! Horses by there quoted records 2011-2013 makes me  ponder as to how those those years have flown bye.

Tab touch Saturday MRX 6 Wangaratta Punter went to have ten wins Written Advice showed as a scratching. Still now on tabtouch it shows it was scratched at 8/12/2022 @ 8.44.done a good job to win and pay 30.80 the win
