i spoke to Rick Hore-Lacy at Tuesday track work and he was playing it down. He reckons too much weight first up and that a few of the others might have a little too much dash for him over the 1000m.
Belgietto should just win again and i like Reassert.
Good Value should bolt in in the 3rd tonight at the valley.
Rhythm Of dance and Southern Skye in the Villiers.
i generally ignore weights at 1000m, broken is a wet tracker imo, and you couldn't possible back a horse like secret flyer. I cannot have eclair mystic, it was beating the C-graders and id prefer him around a bend where he stacks them up and beats the(which was what he was doing). Couldn't see happy glen winning and the rest are hopeless. Reckon if you shop around you should get $5 about the toff which is a good price.
Plus i think that toorak toff is more of a sprinter
Like Altai Warrior in the 1st in Syd after dodging the Bris wet and was impressed by Wordmaster ( Melb ) last start although in lot weaker company but it did belt them.

i thought wordmaster was good, because it ran quick time and spaced them but if you compare it to other races that day it was just the track playing quick. None of the placegetters have got withing 8L of a winner yet so im really not sure what to think.
monarto and Ballet Point should be fighting out the finish again. Diamond cowboy at big odds is the other worth a spec, play around those 3 and you wont miss in the second
everything points to briefed doesnt it, first up record, 1000m and flem record is hard to fault but i cant see why they havent put a senior jock on, claiming 1.5kg over a thousand from a kid who has never been on before has me baffled
punters off to a flyer! both favs in melb (lucky eighty eight) and sydney (sincero) have both absolutely walked in with ease.... nice and easy just the way we like it
just keep following froggy mate, he's a huge chance of riding the first 3 legs of the quaddie, would be surprised if he didnt ride a double in the second half if the card
He is huge chance of getting a job as BUTCHER !!!!! Toorak was way to far out of his ground mate since the wip rules changed 2 years or so the bloke has struggled he is only good for 1 thing thats hitting em
Zero rock has been a great money maker this campaign. I don't like backing newitt ever but i thought toorak toff would be a sit and steer job, guess not. Haven't seen the lady gaga or briefed replays yet but as i suspected lady gaga just can't run sectionals.

briefed just got too far back mate gave the leader 6 lengths at the 400, ran on very well but by that time the leader was in cruise control and had them all off the bit at the 250, one of ben melham's top rides yesterday (racked up something like 13 points in the jockey challenge)
they crawled in gaga's race, melham made a mid race move to get pins on ice to the front, they kept walking in front all the while lady gaga was 3 deep for half the race and melham booted away at the 300 and never looked in doubt... maybe gaga needs to be ridden cold with plenty of pace on? is becoming costly i know that for sure!

nah i think she needs to be ridden aggressively, boot 2 or 3 in front and set a genuine tempo. As i said, the horse cannot run sectionals so that could be her best chance. I never rated it but got trapped into it last start because i just thought the rest were so bad. Sacked for me!
Briefed got back but to be fair the winner was pretty smart. Had very good form as a 2yo but i couldnt have it.
O'brien was unbeatable on sat. Great to see his horses in form.
I reckon belgietto absolutely fell in, had every single chance and just got there. Wouldnt want to see it backing up next week or going up too much in distance. Module is a pretender.

Big Chance in the last if it runs.
just means u need to put more on belgietto in r7
taking a while for correct weight, could possibly be a protest for 3rd, 4th and 5th....
froggys crave ups earlier in the day probably was a blessing in disguise just made for a better price
