Hoops will be previewing this meeting first thing tomorrow morning.
A few early scratchings from the 3yo colts and geldings, Eye of the Beetle and Salute the Sun. Looks a fair race on paper too.
Tottenham Hots.....can he finally win one? Hasnt won for 18 months.
Five out of race 6: Shadesoftime, On The Warpath, Dance Studio, Oranui Eruption, De Troy Roy (much of the pace right there).
Race 7 looks a good race. Senhor Da Gama was scratched from a race last week for Simon Miller. Was a bit of money for it pre-post for that start too.

Just wanted to bring this to the attention of all punters
FORTESCUE FLYER (5yo Rated m70) who won a trial on 22/08 by 1.5 lengths in 1.02.23 was against a field of 3yo Maidens, only one had ever raced
The majority of the trials for older horses were run under 1.02 on the day
Not saying it cant win but dont get too excited over the trial win
FORTESCUE FLYER must have held up the start going on the callers comments too
both horses that beat it in trials both won saturday
only keen if the price is right though..

Followers of the Perth Racing tip of the day will have to wait until the final event of the day at Belmont Park this Wednesday, when Chanify has his second run back from a spell in the Perth Racing Members Handicap (1400m).
The Keith Mifflin trained galloper caught the eye with his fast finishing eighth behind Recode at Belmont Park on August 17 over an unsuitable 1000m trip.
On Wednesday, Chanify steps up to the 1400m distance where he looks ideally placed for his second up outing.
The son of Comfy showed plenty of promise during his last campaign with two wins in a line, before he stepped up in class and was only beaten short margins.
Jockey Peter Knuckey will look to position Chanify just behind the pace from barrier nine, and if he can reproduce a finishing burst like last start take a power of beating.
Mr Lonely and Lunar Image appear to two main dangers to Chanify, but the powerful gelding does appear to have their measure on form.
