    One of us should have the winner then. I have Jimmy Choux, Rekindled Interest, Pinker Pinker and Sincero. Also Have Manawanui, Bliss St and Lady Lynette running

    Just need the CP winner now.

    Have had Bliss Street (2nd), Nolen (1 win) and Manawanui so far!

    Got Sincero, Secret Admirer and Helmet in the Cox.

    I'll probably bet against Americain, i reckon there are better performed and weighted european horses in it.
    This round will add 2 Cup runners that are also running on Sat and then 2 more Cup runners on Tuesday.
    Looks like I'll have to go into the Derby with Manawanui as my only runner :|

    who cares, Mananuwi will win the derby, worth 900k extra for derby day, i'd be concentrating on loading up 4 more from now till cup day...

    Very true - you can't have too many runners in the Cup - Pinker Pinker and Southern Speed have both been 20-1 ish in the two features so far, so the Cup could be a hard race to have a stable for!

    I'll be putting my Cup stable together. Maybe choosing two that are running in the Mackinnon, who are guaranteed runs in the Cup, regardless of where they finish and then two more come Cup morning.

    Although Sepoy could be an easy 300k

    just checked the melbourne forecast...rain friday and saturday
    anyone think Black pirahna a chance....
    i only have and done limited form on this race...but being the 8th race,im thinking the track could be in poor shape..

    Its a horse that doesnt give up...and just keeps sloggin away

    I'm stuffed in this comp, my two additions yesterday who I thought would get runs in the Cup, both ran poorly (Green Moon pulled up with the thumps) and Midas Touch (not sure if there was any excuse)

    So now I have to try and find an upset Melbourne Cup winner!

    Why would Oratorio not throw 2500m Derby winners?

    He won the Irish Champion Stakes and the Coral Eclipse both at 2000m.

    Manawanui by the IRE stallion. Not from the AUS stallion.
