Certainly can.....country clubs get a little leeway when it comes to trials.
Been happening for years and very much appreciated by all concerned.

    cheers

Why not if they have the appropriate qualifications?

And what qualifications allow you to ride in a trial - trackriders permit ?

What happens if they have a fall are they covered under insurance etc etc etc etc etc etc.

Any licenced trackrider or trainer/trackrider will have the required insurance cover as it is a condition of your licence/permit.
It is a system that has assisted greatly in the regional areas of racing.
You would be surprised how hard it can be to organise a trial for some of the country trainers........a little bit of commonsense by the authorities is certainly appreciated by the trainers in these circumstances. :)

    cheers
