What a great weekend it has been for me... i backed 5 out of 9 races in Caulfield..

    Hot Spin $2.80
Shopaholic $6.00 (Soft Sand for Quinella $7.90)
King Mufhasa $2.40 (Pinker Pinker for Quinella $2.70)
    Samaready $2.20
Hi Belle $4.50 (Im Discreet for Quinella $22.00)
    :D

    4 fav's and a 2nd fav, outstanding work
I'm guessing the favs in the other 4 races got beat?
Bit rough Funkster - justmyluck put his/her tips up pre-race and in fairness on level stakes would have done quite well.
Yeah maybe, i'll cop that. Maybe they were Ernie Manning's selections though....? :P

Sorry, had a bad day dealing with imbecile contractors today....
:?: Is saying "with due respect" a polite way of saying "you're a f_ckw!t" or to get my point across should I have said "with due respect you are a f_ckw!t"

Yep, and a quartet with a 20/1 winner pays more than one with a 6/4 winner
I'd rather risk $10 to win $100 and lose than risk $100 to win $100 and lose. But each to their own.
Fav backers are the reason why the divs are so much better when they lose :P

Pretty sure they do. Oakleigh Plate winner was 20/1+
Eagle Falls paid around that ($17 I think) the other week.
I assume you guys weren't on Red Hot Mamma when it won on debut the other week either.....

It felt like december draw did on CC day. Nobody wanted to be on it. It felt really easy in the market and ran accordingly. Always long on betfair as well.

going to review saturday tomorrow, but from the bunched finish i would suggest that the race doesn't mean that much.
