The rail will be out 10m so definitely look for the onpacers and those drawn inside the first 5 barriers - no matter how speed maps go these barriers seem to win time and time again.

Petman flattered last start with the way the track was playing and so i would be very hesistant to back him. Mosheen a very average galloper with very little form - i would be surprised if she won FU.

I would have it between the following gallopers:

Rifleman - 3rd up on pacer, 1200m up from 2 1000m runs - very fast time last start and progressive type

Secret hills - hot spin form is good form but i fear that he may be forced to race off the pace a bit because he is first up.

There doesn;t seem to be too many on pacers so i would suggest that rifleman would be the way to go - he is up from 1000m and will be far more dynamic in a sit and sprint compared to petman who is now having his 3rd start at 1200m.

Of course there is a lot of water to go under the bridge, concerning barrier draws etc.

    Pretty much

    This is her form

First up last prep beaten 1.1L in the quezette behind Metonymy and satin shoes which proved to be a terrible form race - slow time and metonymy did nothing for rest of campaign, SS raced terrible until she was freshened up

Second up beaten 2L behind sepoy, however this was a bunched finish as they walked so slowly early and sprinted home late. To put into perspective - she only beat absalon - a very very average galloper by 1.5L. So basically this race means nothing as well

She then runs in the three quality fillies races, however these races were terrible form races running very slow times compared to the rest on the day, all of which were run perfectly to suit her as she has a good on pace racing style past 1400m. Lets especially scrutinise the performance of the 3L victory, on that day every horse outside leader won extremely easily, for example lady lynette, mourayan etc.

She then gets lapped by atlantic jewel, however people have to remember that against atlantic jewel she gets everything to suit. They walk in front and she dictates terms, however she just isn't up to her level.

Her best performance comes in the myer classic, however after getting a good run on the speed with 49.5kg she wilts pretty quickly and ends up being beaten an admirable 4.5L.

She also won the oaks, but then again if i was a girl i would've won it as well. If you have been on these forums for 6months you would know of my opinion of dowager queen and co. However credit should be given as they did run faster times than the colts who ran a few days earlier.

She doesn't get the top spot on my 'most severely overrated horse list' however, number 1 at the moment belongs to African pulse.

If you think Mosheen is a very average galloper with no form, I'll show you the form of some I've owned over the years...lol

Well i am talking in the grand scheme of things. I guess she can be competitive if placed right but i feel she will be thrown into the deep end and found wanting.

Before her 1st start Leon always said she was potentially the best horse he's had, he's proven to be a good judge on her.

What's your opinion on her now Vorg?

    Exactly the same.

It was set up for her and was aided by a perfect ride. The fact she beat mr milton and STS says it all. Dreadful form race.

So Mosheen is still a very average galloper with very little form?

In the grand scheme of things, yes - shes a very average group horse galloper... if placed in terrible form races she will keep winning them. She won't make it in the big ones.

Atlantic jewel, soft sand and shopaholic are my top 3. Soft sand really is a great horse and will win a lot of races. Streama still not there yet for mine.

AJ yes, Mosheen clearly next best. The other two seem to need more favours than Mosheen to win. Shopaholic is only small so can't see her going on with it. Soft Sand may go well in the better f&m or handcap races.
Mosheen should go ok in WFA company

I also rate le societe higher than mosheen for the record

The others in that race have no future bar maybe a few of the stayers

Dungy soft sand was huge last week. She is a serious horse.
