What's DMac on about? Blitz Off was trained by Todd Harvey and Rouge Dior by Rob Harvey.

Training as a father and son partnership, Harvey Racing.
Might be that on the website, but officially they are not a partnership,

please dont mention mirranonon again then

a topic for another day but Ascot is a summer track, so when it gets hot - as it does in summer..the official parade ring is too hot for our horses???? :-?

Indeed, a 37 degree day is hardly extreme. We're all going soft in our old age Rio ( in more ways than one!!)

DMac had the race over on radio when Operational hit the front - tough to listen too!

Cant call - Give it up!!!

    GALILETTO great result. =D>

Even if the end of the day mirrors the first half and I don't get another one in so be it, that has made the day more than worth while!!

If you're squinting, Rayce Nielsen and Pat Carbery look similar.

"carbery sitting as quiet as a church mouse..." - that was the KOD needed to stop the odds-on elect...
  • kermietimekermietime    67 posts
When he goes the "church mouse" they have about a 20% success rate of getting home. Fair dinkum, he calls everything with a margin with 150m to go as the winner. Gonna try to get out on Shezapro in the last.

ascot was very average fields today, more like a bunbury race meeting, apart from R3 and R4.
  • RIORIO    14,902 posts
there were full fields and apart from the first two races, all the races attracted over 150k on the win bet..Big improvement on the past month...IMO

And the second race which had low turnover was badly affected because the Orr ran 4 minutes late with Wall Street playing up.

Gee I wish Fishy didn't get that split in the last cost me a packet had a nice all up and good % of quaddie if Saezuri wins :(

Sorry Jordan - I'm glad he did!

Well done Bruce. 3 in a line for Comfysofa and to my eye he looks a horse that will be suited to higher class races ridden off the speed and smothered up. I think then the turn of foot will be even more pronounced.

Thank you Sensei - you have summed up exactly what the stable and Jason believe - could be a little further back with cover and given room to let down he will. Jason said he turned off as soon as he hit the front - I hope you are right about higher class races. Only time will tell but for now enjoying the ride.

Let me add - great training effort by Simon Miller and team to get the best out of this horse.

All good Bruce that's punting fingers crossed for a certain import towards the later end of the year ;)

Great to see Red Hot Sax back, capped off a great day for me. Her trial behind Peggie's Dream at Bunbury was a
    beauty and ran accordingly today.
