R1. Www.givemefiveforkids.com.au Maiden - So You Think Tipster #5 - Mitch B
Ellay Cee Belle (6) has drawn wide but should be able to get across one off the fence, or even better go straight to the top. She is a recent trial winner and has form last time in around multiple winners in better grade, Emirates Lass and Fort Lotus. Saxon Suzi (5) might kick up underneath, however overall the pace shouldn't be too strong and this should play into Ellay Cee Belle's hands. Honour Rock (3) trialled well and should have matured in the break. Underhanded (2) is coming out of the strong midweek form race won by Smoko and should be thereabouts again from barrier 4.
6. ELLAY CEE BELLE - 3. HONOUR ROCK - 2. UNDERHANDED
SUGGESTED BET - 6. ELLAY CEE BELLE $60

Dark Attack (10) has had a change of trainer since her last campaign and has the blinkers applied for this first up assignment. She should get into a nice spot from gate 3 and hit the line well. In Rhythm (1) has the service of Pike again, but has a wide barrier to contend with. If he can slot in he is a good chance. Kym Kym Kaboom (7) is dropping back to a more appropriate grade, but is hard to catch. Others with a chance are I Say Sasso (6,) but she is a 17 start maiden, if you back her you are braver than me. Can He Ever (4) is back without trialling and could run over the top of them fresh.
10. DARK ATTACK - 1. IN RHYTHM - 7. KYM KYM KABOOM
SUGGESTED BET - 10. DARK ATTACK $20 x $20
Anhing Adingding (3) should make a mess of this field. Most of this field are not going anywhere fast, yet Alan Mathews thought enough of this horse to start it first up in a Saturday metro race against Baleen In Me and War Prince. It started well in the market that day and only got beaten 2.5L. Despite the wide barrier it should still be too good for this field. Tacking On (8) and Enemy Lines (2) from the Parnham stable should be thereabouts for the minor prizes.
3. ANHING ADINGDING - 8. TACKING ON - 2. ENEMY LINES(NZ)
SUGGESTED BET - 3. ANHING ADINGDING $30
There are a number of horses who lead or race on the pace here, which should set the race up for something running on, namely Ellie's Grey (12). Sharon Miller has engaged the services of William Pike for this race and the blinkers have been added to her gear. Her five career starts have all been commendable, being beaten under 2.5L in four of them and by just over 4L two starts ago, in a race where not many horses ran on. Prince Boomerang (3) looks to have some upside as a provincial staying horse and should be fit now he's third up. Modo Mio (4) looks to be the best of the rest as isn't far away from winning a race like this.
12. ELLIE'S GREY - 3. PRINCE BOOMERANG - 4. MODO MIO
SUGGESTED BET - 12. ELLIE'S GREY $25 x $25
This looks a race in two between Strictly Ballroom (4) and Seattle Beau (2). Seattle Beau has a great record at the track and distance and Strictly Ballroom has been placed very well by the Watkins/Hitchcock stable in his career to date. If he keeps improving from his first 2 starts he should win here again, but I'm not brave enough to be on him straight out. It does however, look a nice quinella bet. Foo Foo The Snoo (6) seems to have never recovered from the shirtfront Eight Til Late gave her in the Champion Fillies in 2011, but she is back without trialling and on her day has a bit of talent. She should be able to sprint well fresh and be a chance running on.
2. SEATTLE BEAU - 4. STRICTLY BOARDROOM - 6. FOO FOO THE SNOO
The one stat that sums this race up is the 12 runners have had a combined 164 starts for 2 wins. Someone has to win today, and I'm afraid it could be the ambulance. We are going to back the Saxy Grace form in here and go with the top three in the racebook. Clydeasaurusrex (3) from Our Maxy Boy (1) and Holy Maximus (2), only in that order as Clydeasaurusrex has had the least starts and should have the most upside.
3. CLYDEASAURUSREX - 1. OUR MAXY BOY - 2. HOLY MAXIMUS
12 months ago I thought Prince Charming (3) was a WA Derby contender. He didn't end up making it, but he clearly possesses some talent. He was very unlucky first up and as long as he can get into clear running at the top of the lane he should power over the top of them. Endless Time (2) is in good form and goes well over this distance. Kim Ability (1) is back to the 1600m after a freshen up and has a touch of class on most of this field. Other place chances are Teddy's Mate (6) who should be powering home and will be a good runner to watch for next start and Diamond Liqueur (9) fresh off her maiden win, who will settle towards the front.
3. PRINCE CHARMING - 2. ENDLESS TIME - 1. KIM ABILITY(NZ)
SUGGESTED BET - 3. PRINCE CHARMING $40
Hopefully we've got our cash for the day already and aren't trying to get out here. Last start maiden winner Double Jester (10) looks to have a bit of upside after two solid runs over today's race distance. Black Grape (3) has been consistent recently in slightly better class and is always a chance in a race like this. Should settle third the fence from the pole and will be there when the whips are cracking. Elsa's Girl (4) is a good chance but will need to be ridden well from 14 to ensure she doesn't get caught wide. Chilli Deva (9) is an acquisition from Adelaide for Darryn Pateman and her best form is over the 1200m and 1250m over there, she should be running on at the end.
10. DOUBLE JESTER - 9. CHILLI DEVA - 3. BLACK GRAPE

some odd sponsers today
"wake up with a frenchy handicap"*
and a few about 5 kids....
* for u young blokes a frenchy was a name for a franger or as u know them, a condom...lol
R8 BLACK GRAPE.
the key..back to 1300m. 1320m is 20m too far for this bloke, let alone 1400 last start. he always puts himself in the race and looks a big hope, but he has a short sprint and turns into a one oaced horse last furlong. that said..jordan mallyon knows him inside out, he has drawn the fence so he gets the softest run, the silver speck form last start looks good for a race like this..he has a win at northam already...if this isnt his day, then he is forever sacked and its no more questions your honor.
