R1. Heytesbury Stud Maiden - So You Think Tipster #11 - Brenden C

Nobleman was great at his first ever start in a race,he was caught wide throughout and did a lot wrong but still attacked the line to be only beaten 4-5 lengths.I think with barrier 4 and the extra 200m he can play a big part in the finish.Wayward Warrior has been consistant of late and with the wizard on top from a good draw he can go close.Independent Mak can come across from a wide draw and be tough to run down with the right run.

11. NOBLEMAN - 3. WAYWARD WARRIOR - 1. INDEPENDENT MAK

SUGGESTED BET - 11. NOBLEMAN $25 x $25

R2. Pinjarra Golf Club Maiden - So You Think Tipster #11 - Brenden C

Lahabama is an impressive looking son of Barely A Moment and looks to have ability. He got within 3 1/2 lengths of Hussy By Choice at his first ever start and that is easily good enough form for this.Rustic Ricochet won a trial recently and can run a nice race from a gun barrier.Host It Note from the Simon Miller stable is in the mix but cant have it any higher than 3rd given its barrier.

    3. LAHABAMA - 8. RUSTIC RICOCHET - 6. HOST IT NOTE

    SUGGESTED BET - 3. LAHABAMA $25 x $25

R3. Josephine\'s Salon De Beaute Maiden - So You Think Tipster #11 - Brenden C

Silent Trade has been running on well at it's first two starts in stronger company and is a big chance to win this race in maiden company though I would prefer to see her over 1400m.Superstrata was good at his first start and with a much better barrier this time he can be in the finish.Bear Express is also down in class and if he can find the front,he will prove very hard to catch.

    11. SILENT TRADE - 3. SUPERSTRATA - 1. BEAR EXPRESS

    SUGGESTED BET - 11. SILENT TRADE $100

R4. Lark Hill Vets Maiden - So You Think Tipster #11 - Brenden C

World Trader is another that has run well at his first start and with natural improvement can be a big player here.Crown Of Arc has not raced for well over a year but has run 2nd to Rantorini and that is easily good enough for this. The Ross and Clint Price trained mare Elsie's Rhapsody has ability and with the wizard aboard can fill a minor placing.

    2. WORLD TRADER - 8. CROWN OF ARC - 12. ELSIE'S RHAPSODY

SUGGESTED BET - 8. CROWN OF ARC $50

The former Darley gelding Embarrassed is the the class runner,if he brings his eastern states form here he can easily account for these.Riverbend Cowboy has potential and he is the danger.Painted has been running consistant of late and is a good chance to run a place.

    1. EMBARRASSED - 3. RIVERBEND COWBOY - 5. PAINTED

    SUGGESTED BET - 1. EMBARRASSED $100

This is a race in two between Flying Time and Metallica and im with Flying Time.It was a big run last start and The Pontiff on top with a good barrier he looks the goods. You must forgive Metallica for her last start failure she can bounce back to form here and push Flying Time all the way.I am putting Bendit in for 3rd as he is always competitive in a race like this.

    1. FLYING TIME - 3. METALLICA - 10. BENDIT

    SUGGESTED BET - 1. FLYING TIME $50

Geez if you can find the winner here you are a better man than me.The Bob Peters owned Great Success is my pick,if he can find the front or the box seat he can win.Heaven Tonight should have finished closer last start and with Paul Harvey taking the ride can only be a positive.Endless Time was good last start from what i think was an unfavourable barrier,if she can get to the outside she will be flying home late.I could have thrown in Toned,Rakuroo or Wotchinyu but you can't have them all in what is a very open race.

    12. GREAT SUCCESS - 17. HEAVEN TONIGHT - 7. ENDLESS TIME

R7. Gannons Racing Colours Handicap - So You Think Tipster #11 - Brenden C

This is a tough race but im leaning towards Emirates Lass,2nd up and the 1400m is ideal.Prince Boomerang can bounce here after a last start failure, with barrier 1 he can get the run of the race and play a big part in the finish. If Wicked Game finds some of his 3yr old form he will be big danger but i think the 1600m is more his go.

    10. EMIRATES LASS - 4. PRINCE BOOMERANG - 2. WICKED GAME

One of these days Yerakina is going to lob at cricket score odds. Would be a good start to the quaddie, not holding the breath though

I'm very confident that Wes Cameron would have been smilng after he saw the list of nominees for race 3 today. The reason I say this is because a horse named I'm a Bluebagga made it's debut. I don't think Wes named it personally but I know he'd love to hear D Mac and co calling a name like that being the Carlton supporter that he is. I hope you had the horse in your top 4 today Wes. :-\" We are the Navy Blues.... :-\"

I can assure you Dale that yes they are the same person indeed. D Mac occasionally calls him Pearly White just like he uses many a nickname for jockeys such as Shooter McGruddy, Banjo Patterson, Smokin Joe Azzopardi etc. I have spoken to Willie a few times and it's a very simple but effective nickname that he obviously doesn't mind being known by. He comes across as a polite and easy person to speak to as well.

It is tough but I think Five Fields can win from Charmoss and Just Hoping will improve. There's your trifecta. ;))

No way. Toned DID NOT win that. It's as clear as day that Box O Chocolates won. If the official photo shows Toned winning then it's wrong. It is not lined up properly or something. Box O Chocolates won clearly. I'm flabbergasted!

I thought it had won Rodent. Fenella Martin and Natasha Faithfull unlucky not to get a double on the day with Box of Chocs. Great effort ladies.

Backhouse Street not far away had no luck in the straight and will pay to follow.

WTF? The TAB has Box O Chocolates winning but I swear I heard DMac say Toned got the photo and SKY showed Toned the winner?????????
Anyway, at least they're paying out on the correct result. By the way, I didn't have a bet.

the angle has to be very bad if toned was actually in front on the line

DMac certainly announced Toned as the winner. Perhaps the wrong number was posted which would also explain SKY (although they may have put it up when Darren announced).

oh i am slow as usual, they certainly had toned up as the winner.
sky taking the cue from the caller?
he has a great voice but it's all he has.

I reckon the judge put the wrong number up to begin with.

To be fair he initially thought box o cholcolates won and sounded very surprised when they said Toned won pretty sure he didn't make the call on the winner initially
