Didn't back or lay it, but if any horse is vetted at start horse should be automatic scratching.

However being a bookielover, happy to see them get the lot.
    B-)

    Nope MM I layed it
  • bookieloverbookielover    2,709 posts
    Well done, TB.
Reason I say they should be scratched, has got nothing to do with the odds.

I don't care how good the vet is, he cannot possibly make an informed decision as to, in particular, the internal health of the horse, in just a minute or two.

Don't know why the jock didn't settle closer on CI? Looked dour last start and the hoop knew he was in trouble rounding the turn.

natasha faithfull.................................. what a brain dead ride, how steve wolfe keeps putting her on his horses is to my astonishment, the only time i go against my rule of never backing female jockeys but i thought id give her a chance because i really like tiger pete, she lets me down, i dont know who im more disappointed at, her or myself for knowing better but not listening to myself.

I gave up backing female jocks when Kyra Yuill showed some ability i was told but that quickly went away i just dont back them i refuse to

I don't know why they keep putting claiming apprentices on backmarkers if they won't go forward. They just don't have the experience to judge pace/tempo.

I haven't watched the race so I can't comment on the ride itself. But the 1 thing I will say is that Tash rode a Saturday double for the stable only last week and 1 of those wins was indeed on Tiger Pete. I can understand your dissapointment in losing money Tesseract but it's still a harsh assesment on her for what your saying was not a good ride. All jockeys have rides to remember and others they would rather forget, not just her.

I think Danablue has the makings of a really nice horse. He has had six runs this time in for 2 wins and 4 places. he puts in each run, and both his wins have come when he has raced outside the leader. He really has chased hard each run, and is usually each-way odds. =D>

yeah you're right, im just so fucking sick of losing in the last leg of my multi, which was tiger pete, so typical ! i know faithful wins but she'll never see any of my money again.. although i rarely bet in WA, today was an exception as i was convinced today this horse had to win, thought the 1000m might be too short but i had it rated a $1.85 chance so thought it was good enough.
Feels like last year when excelorada wins three in a row so next race i drop $3K on him and he runs 4th...FML.

Could not agree more, terrible ride but nice run. I hope they sack the Hoop and I will back Dueton next start. I think he is an honest sprinter.

They walked though. By the looks of it Tiger Pete would have won with the same run-on the outside with momentum
