Can anyone explain how two horses can draw barrier 14? on Saturday 21st in race 4 two horses have drawn barrier 14?

Yes, very simple. It continues to surprise me why people ask such dumb questions..In fact it infuriates me.

THIS IS WA.......we do things differently in WA!!!!!

    Now bugger off......

    =)) =)) =))

Great spotting, that is a classic and questions a lot of the integrity of barrier draws for all times. Done randomly by a computer?????

    :-?

adamant1...which race are you speaking of...I have print of original weight release and can not see where you are speaking of.

adamant just happened to look as they were processing acceptances / scratchings.
If you happen to look at the right moment (Wed morning for Saturday fields) you will often see scrambled gate allocations.

As per most gripes on here - just need to chillaz for 5.

It was not a gripe Tivers, purely an observation.

I've got an odd one from yesterday adamant. I printed out the final acceptances for Belmont Saturday 21/6 from the RISA website.  In race 6 there was a final field of 13 runners with barriers allocated 1-13. I was checking bookie prices today and found that I was a runner short. Dominating had appeared in the field as no.7. The original horses 7 to 13 had become numbers 8 to 14. And the best bit - Dominating now had barrier one and the rest of the field were all one gate wider than originally listed. There was no explanation for this on RISA or CRIS.
    What's that about?

DeepFriar ...DOMINATING is drawing stall 1 in the first set of weights release ...so it is RISA that is misprinting . ...problem not with RWWAs.
