    Both dropping at the knees and leading with the head to initiate high contact amount to cheating, just like diving in soccer. Hang your heads in shame McGinnity & Shuey. I thought the umps were suppose to be letting that go and the ducking being assessed as prior opportunity. Dean Margetts had a shocker

    certainly looks like a player who has already left...can be an effective outside runner in a good team...but not at the moment with his poor decision making...wouldn't be surprised if he gets a guernsey in one of the better teams

    What would they get for him do you think? Also what pick did they use for him?

    There are a number of Eagles who don't look fit to me, i'm not talking injured or being able to run but not fit in terms of well a club like Port Adelaide. Like I think a professional athlete, this is my bread and butter, if I can improve my fitness half a percent I will because that will give me the competitive edge in a game where I make my living fit. Shuey, Gaff, Wellingham come to mind. All guys who have a shed load of talent and would no doubt be on a good crust.

    i reckon a round 2 pick and a +25yr old ex West Ozzy that wants to go home..maybe a 6ft forward... t actually think Shuey has picked up a bit in the last couple of games....Wellingham is amazing...surprised he is still getting a game

    Yet to put in a 4 quarter effort all year just ask the
    Coach !
    Have no idea what the Simpson Game plan is can anybody help with that ?
    Like to judge Coaches on their second year so time will tell

    Wellingham is a joke and the $$$ they are paying him Pies are laughing all the way ,agree they need to trade up one of there big fwds i wouldnt mind Gov or JK wouldnt touch Darling his opinion of himself is huge they tell me and the throwing the head back and and playing for cheapies isnt what good players are made of

    I think they ran Darling through the middle for a big on the weekend. And I reckon if he has a motor and can do that workload it is a good situation to be in. With the other 2 you mention staying up forward and Lycett and Sinclair coming through they can cover the lose of Cox and the shortfalls in Nic Nat.

    Then all they need is a couple of 6 footers that have a bit more pace then the current batch. One up forward - Josh Hill seems to be on the outer - and one for the midfield. The boys down back do a good job for about  3 quarters every game. Just need to get that Glass mentality in them that it is needed for 4 quarters and they will be better for it. But I think that is due to the ease that the opposition bring the ball into the attacking area, due to the lack of speed in the midfield once the opposition get a break. Always look slow chasing but the Eagles look pedestrian so the opposition can deliver with less pressure - making the back men look worse than they really are.

    I would be going after Jeff Garlett from Carlton and Tom Mitchell from Swans, both out of favour, both from WA and fill two needs...speedy crumbing forward and big bodied midfielder.
