    There is nothing a hate more than a late scratching at the barriers....honestly who would have taken odds on about the fav if Private Business wasn't in that race?

    Glad it got scratched not sure if it would have beaten Wookah to be fair.

    Wookah ran 5th in a victoria derby behind rebel raider 6 years ago.

    Won it's first race in w.a at belmont in 2012 beating none other then Rocky's Brother who ran second to it today.

    @shovog-I agree nothing was beating Wookah on that run but I just don't like being forced to take odds on right at the last minute.

    Saxon Coast is really good e-w odds. It has beaten horses with very good form this campaign and form wise you would be game to back anything to beat it. Meeres riding well and after a treble.

    Leaders compounded Meeres Had saxon coasting before the key cutter got the stitch and it lost all momentum at the wrong time. Doubt it would have won mind you.

    Another very profitable day at Kal though 2 from 2 , next week im sure the gambling gods will hit back.

    I did slightly better than break even. Kalgal is such a tease though. Lots of promise upfront, but junk in the trunk. I feel like they should have an oncourse therapist there....there would be a long line after the last.

    I do agree that the horse should probably be retired Falc. But I'm not 100% sure that Mr Maclou is still the owner of the horse. It indicates that he is in the race book, but the horse isn't racing in Greg's colours. They are Chris Williss's colours & he is the current trainer ;)
