Shady Gray paid bloody well for a place.

$2 in a 7 horse field are you serious....
$2.50 is bloody good especially for such a small field
Yeah you'll be making millions at that rate keep up the good work.
My places put me in front for the day

I'm so impressed one day I'll pick horses to place at $2 odds and I'll come straight on here to brag when I score such a huge price!!!

you can't really say how much faster one is than the other, because it would be different depending on the class of the horse doing the running.

the times below would make a horse rate 100 if he ran that time at either track.

in perth no horse is ever(rarely?) going to rate a100, so that my times will look very fast, but it matters not.
and that is doubly more likely at northam where the classes are weaker still
it's about ratios rather than absolutes.

those times are also fluid, in that they will vary(very very slightly) each time i add data, and redo the lot.

those with few instances will obviously be basically worthless.

maybe you can ask damien for belmont!! =))

All that stuff i have found over years to be not very useful really a case in point is today race 2 unless u have a good idea of varient whats the point in my view as u would well know.I have found a better way  which is alot quicker has taken alot of data cruching and time but i am now happy with what i have.

It doesn't matter what someone bets on or how they bet - All that matters to the better is he/she is happy and comes out in front.

Was very quiet on course. We left just after the 7th and as we were walking out the missus said it was like a ghost town (her first midweek visit).
Was a good arvo out, 'cept everything i backed ran second ...

Met some nice people, got in the members in shorts 'n thongs, the beer was cold .... that'll do me.

What would Perth Racing do without commission from the TAB

Why don't they explore twilight racing?
School holidays still, some shade, a bouncy castle and some pony rides on the grass in front of the grandstand?
No initiative, gotta try something new. Imagine a bit of effort today, free icecreams and stuff for the kids.... they could've had 1000's there.

    got upstairs in thongs, skids!!
one of the owners of essayez was refused entrance to the FIRST FLOOR....the public area cos he wore thongs, along with dress shorts and a decent t-shirt.
    go figure.....

Good idea. Now that's just one idea and there are many but the incompetent people running Perth Racing can't think of things like this - Or are simply not interested as it would involve work.

Proper dress would be another plus for the races. Decent people don't want to be any where near slobs in singlets and thongs.
  • thefalconthefalcon    20,495 posts
but it was the public area...floor 1 of the grandstand with that super screen for the rank and file racegoers.
what do they want? a tuxedo?...get real....
