    So let's say Terry and Brad swap for 6 months, tell me PTT posters how racing would change in both states?, and how many senior riders we would have left in WA 8-}

    Maybe wait and see what happens to Moody, Kavanagh and O`brien over their cobalt positives.

    Sharon has been suspended, the trainer with 2 foreman still trains. Welcome to WA.

    Bailey obviously has the same attitude to high profile trainers in Vic.

    I agree with the WA stewards approach. If the (a) and (b) sample are both over then suspension until the hearing. But that's only one part of it all. Show me a WA steward that will finally give Pont time for standing up on a horse??. Warning,
    Warning, Caution, Warning... All the time costing first 4 punters money. Non leaders leading and winning, walkers in staying races, nothing is done here, nothing. Would rather bet at Broome where you know the kids are trying.

    I'll say it once I'll say it a million times.

    Sports betting will kill racing slowly.

    Look at the NRL? The salary cap evens all the teams up and bad refereeing decisions decide the games. Who in their right mind would bet under those circumstances? 8-}

    One of the things that saves racing is that betting in-play online is still illegal. Which hopefully will be rectified in the long term because it's ridiculous.

    You mean this one?

    @AlbanyRacing: Thursday's trials to be conducted following the last race to protect racing surface. Decision made in conjunction with @RWWA_Thor Stewards.

    It reads "Register now for the Return to Racing symposium, discuss and present ideas to create a sustainable and positive WA racing"

    After what RWWA and PR served up yesterday compared to other states WA is definitely going backwards
    Queensland are building up to their main feature races for the year
    South Australia doing the same
    NSW have just finished their Championships with many fantastic performances by both horse and rider
    Victoria has a Super Vobis special day with very good stakemoney

    Over here we have a 8 race card with 4 races with less than 10 runners, either there is something seriously wrong with the track or the administration running the show or both.

    Maybe it's the handicapping system as I have just looked at the midweek fields they should all be full fields # diabolical #

    It could be though. Although I haven't have any solid evidence that can back it up. image
